A beautiful peacock mirror made with sterling silver. Comes with an original stamp and is in perfect condition. Can be hung vertically or horizontally.

HOW TO HANG YOUR PEACOCK MIRROR CORRECTLY

Up to size 24" x 36". Take a double length of picture wire about 6" longer than the space between the hangers, put the looped end through one hanger and draw the free end through the loop to form a tight knot at this hanger. Thread the free end through the other hanger and use the extra 6" to twist for security. Draw the wire tight between the hangers lest it 38g and appear over the top of the mirror, Take a 60 lb. picture hanger and drive the point fully into the plaster.

Over size 24" x 36*. Use two 50 lb. mirror hangers firmly secured in the wall and auspend individual hangers on the back of the mirror to these wall hooks.

Never join individual hangers on back of mirror with wire in mirrors over size 24° x 36".

HANDLING AND CLEANING YOUR PEACOCK MIRROR

Avoid handling with moist hands. Perspiration is harmful to the mirror backing and of course, slippery hands increase the risk of breakage. Moisten a small cloth and apply & good glass cleaner (non-abrasive type). Do not allow the glass eleaner to dry thoroughly. Polish with a soft cloth using parallel strokes to avoid streaks.

If the mirror silver becomes blemished under the guarantee period (see below) you should contact your furniture dealer or the C.P.I. branch nearest you.

THE PEACOCK GUARANTEE

Peacock Plate Glass Mirrors are guaranteed against silver deterioration, for a period of 5 years from date of manufac-ture, after January ist, 1957. This includes any discolouration, streaking or spotting of the silver film under normal usage.

(Mir-O Cron" mirrors cannot be guaranteed when installed in locations where continual dampness prevails such as in showers, on the exterior of buildings or when set in mastic). When notified of a defective mirror our responsibility shall be limited to the actual cost of replacement or resilvering and shall cover silver deterioration only.
